Our MSB Mechanical crew is proud to be on site at the new North Oshawa High School, working alongside Percon Construction Inc. and the Durham District School Board to help bring this project to life.

The scope

From custom fittings through to complete ductwork installations in the mechanical room, every part of the mechanical scope is being delivered with the precision, care, and craftsmanship that institutional projects of this scale require. School board work has its own set of constraints — strict commissioning standards, occupancy-driven deadlines, and a building lifespan that demands installations capable of running reliably for decades.

The crew is on track to complete top-tier mechanical systems by September 2026, ensuring students walk into a space that's not just functional — but built for the future.

Why we like institutional work

School board projects are some of the most consequential mechanical work being done in Ontario right now. A new high school is a 40- to 60-year asset. The decisions made today on plant configuration, controls architecture, and ductwork layout will define energy and air-quality performance for generations of students.
