Net-Zero Leadership Summit: the Minister Champagne event
Our Co-President attended the Minister Champagne event in preparation for the Canada 2020 Net-Zero Leadership Summit, where thought leaders discussed the challenges and opportunities of carbon neutrality across the Canadian economy.

Last night, our Co-President Kolostat-Krome attended the Minister Champagne event in preparation for the main Net-Zero Leadership Summit taking place today.
It was truly inspiring to see so many thought leaders and sector experts come together to discuss the challenges and opportunities of carbon neutrality in the Canadian economy.
One very interesting excerpt from the speech: "Businesses come to Canada for resources and values. A values-based business model becomes paramount when it comes to deciding where to invest."
There is a real shift in the business world, with more and more organizations recognizing the importance of incorporating environmental, social and governance (ESG) factors into their strategies.

Canada is quickly emerging as a leader in this area, providing a unique combination of abundant natural resources and a strong commitment to sustainable development and responsible business practices in the energy sector.

Everyone was very optimistic about the arrival of new international projects in Canada, such as VW recently announcing a new plant in Ontario.
