We believe so much in DDC controls that we are installing them in lieu of standard controls for a majority of our clients regardless whether they are specified or not.

Energy Efficiency Programs
We help Energy Innovators develop and implement their Energy Management Plan. This is in conjunction with Canada meeting its commitments to reduce greenhouse gas emission as per the Kyoto protocol http://oee.nrcan.gc.ca/eii/

LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design-Green Building Rating System)
As a member of the Canadian Green Building Council, Kolostat is recognized as a leader in the "green" building movement. Combining our expertise as Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) professionals and our familiarity with multitude of grants available for owners of energy efficient buildings, we are uniquely situated to help provide our clients with buildings that simultaneously reduce capital costs, reduce long-term energy cost, and protect our environment. This vision is applied to both new and existing buildings, allowing us to satisfy our clients while serving as an environmentally responsible organization.

Hydro Québec
Kolostat is a "partnering professional" for Hydro-Québec's "Empower" program which allows us to obtain financial assistance from Hydro-Québec for its customers when modifications to an existing or new building result in increased energy-efficiency.
