Design-Build

Novartis Responding to the need of owners and builders for single-point project responsibility, Kolostat developed a design-build department in the 1970s. The practical advantages of full, in-house coordination enable us to guarantee client cost and completion date from the outset. Furthermore, by eliminating the need for multiple and repetitive levels of communication, we are able to move a project from conception to construction in far less time than would be possible employing traditional bid and spec practices. Our engineers work with the client to understand her/his unique needs and develop this information into the ideal design for the application. In the process, we remain vigilant of the balance between capital and operational costs in the interest of providing a building that will continue to surpass expectations.
