The primary functions of this position are as follows:

Qualifications:
- Bilingual (French / English).
- Diploma in Building Engineering Systems or a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (speciality: Building Engineering Systems).
- Two (2) to Five (5) years’ experience.
- Knowledge in HVAC systems (an asset).

Principle functions:
- Prepare working drawings for the installation of ductwork (HVAC).

Experience
The primary function of this position is site foreman in piping for the HVAC construction industry.
Job Responsibilities:
- Supervise, coordinate and organize all work among the pipe installers, both for new and maintenance of existing systems used in the commercial, and industrial projects
- Establish work methods that will respect the job schedule and coordinate the work with other trades on site
- Order material and tools
- Review site problems related to the working conditions, and make recommendations to alleviate them while increasing productivity

Energy Efficiency Engineer
Job Responsibilities:
Under the supervision of the Director of Energy Services, you will be responsible of understanding and participating in the development and realization of preliminary engineering of various energy efficiency projects in the commercial and/or industrial sectors. You will work closely with other team members to complete various feasibility studies and projects. Your primary functions will be the following:
- Study project plans, quotations and specifications;
- Participate in jobsite visits and document pertinent information to advance preliminary engineering;
- Analyze the utility bills (Hydro-Québec and Énergir) of existing buildings and propose utility billing optimization solutions;
- Perform load calculations and energy savings calculations using the software utilized by Kolostat and produce related reports;
- Complete application forms for financial support programs to which projects are eligible (Energir, Hydro-Québec, Transition Énergétique Québec, NRCan);
- Identify and develop viable energy efficiency measures for clients based on the different grant programs available as well as clients' financial criteria.
- Write reports of energy retrofit feasibility studies.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering with a profile in Building Mechanics;
- 3 to 10 years of experience in the fields of building mechanics / energy efficiency;
- Language requirements – French : fluent in oral and written communications; English : functional in written and oral communications; bilingualism is an asset;
- Experience or familiarity with energy efficiency grant programs (Énergir, Transition Énergétique Québec) is an asset;
